Mmmh, maybe it would be usefull if someone say how to edit texture in DDS format...

Well i do a research on google and I found this :

http://wwwnew.filefront.com/DDS%20Converter%202%2010/;3577988;/fileinfo.html

it's a DDS texture file converter. Wink

"Now open the second download"

I went back over and over the video footage and at no point did I see a "second download".  Is this some file in the editor package?  Is it one of the extracted files?

This tutorial could be a lot better.  I'm sure I'll get it figured out eventually but I am going to have to go to a different site or find another tutorial to get past this point where he/she is referring to a "second download" that needs to be opened.

Anyway of course the effort is appreciated, might work better if waited until one wasn't "strapped for time", then it could be made more specific.  One should assume that people are following tutorial who are complete novices.

Thanks for the tutorial, but I'm confused on how to actually edit the skins. I have them in photo shop, but they are un-detailed. I don't know what this will apply to when I save it: every sim, only the ones with the skin tone as the .dds image, and how each .dds image is altered to create a desired outcome. There are multiple .dds files and I don't know how to merge them or if I even do (transparency, blending ect.) If someone could post a tutorial on how to edit the .dds files in a photo editor please help:(. I also have team viewer if anyone knows how to and could help me that way. If you don't know what team viewer is it's an amazing application that allows you to remotely connect to other PCs to assist them with something and control their PC from yours. Sorry if this is considered spamming, but I am confused on actually editing the skins now just handling the files.
