It's pretty simple actually. Press Ctrl-Shift-C and type testingCheatsEnabled true
Pick any house, occupied or not. Click on a window and click "Look in Window".
Your Sim will peer in the window and the entire inside of the house will become visible. You will also be able to click any object to interact with it, however if you try to interact or send your Sim inside using "Go Here" your Sim will complain that the way is blocked.
Hold Shift and click anywhere in the house.
Click "Teleport Me Here".

You will teleport inside. Now, go about swiping, or whatever you wanted to get inside for. If it's a house someone already owns, your Sim will constantly try to "Go Home", but you can cancel it. If the house is unoccupied, you pretty much treat it as if it was your own house. Only no bills to pay!

Excellent find!

It bugged me that I couldn't inspect the interior of vacant homes unless I moved to it.

Whoa thanks this totally works I already swiped  a bed and a HD TV (tv so I can sell) cause I already hav one. and the bed I will sell 2!! Cheesy but thanks fer the help
